9/1 NHL Accumulator and Double land on Thursday night!

December is the season of giving and our tipsters have contributed to the festive mood with yet another winner!

After landing a massive 61/1 BTTS & Win Accumulator over the weekened, we have now landed a 9/1 NHL Accumulator and Double as well.

Here’s how it went:

9/1 NHL Acca Lands

The night started off in Boston where the resurrected Bruins dominated the Western Conference last placed Arizona Coyotes. After a slower start and a 1-1 tie in the first period Boston took off in the 2nd and scored two goals which they followed up with three more in the final period to put the game beyond doubt. They are now 7-3 in their last 10 games!

We needed overtime in the 2nd game of the acca as the Pittsburgh Penguins took care of the New York Islanders. After the teams exchanged leads throughout the first two periods a 2-2 in the 3rd period meant we would go to OT. In the overtime period, the game came very fast as defender Matt Hunwick found the net just 1 minute and 29 seconds in. It was Pittsburgh’s 10th win at home this season.

Tampa Bay Lightning took care of Colorado fairly easily in the 3rd tip of the acca. The number one team in the Eastern Conference won it’s 3rd straight despite falling behind early against the Avalanche. A power play goal and an empty netter sealed the deal in the 3rd period as they ran out 5-2 winners.

The team that’s chasing Tampta for that 1st place in the Western Conference, the St. Louis Blues took care of Dallas at home. Two power play goals in the 1st and 3rd period gave them a solid push before Dallas pulled it’s goalkeeper in search of a late goal. The Blues took full advantage and scored on the empty net to put the result beyond doubt.

And finally, it was probably the game of the night as the 5th and final tip on our Acca. San Jose fell behind 3-0 in the opening period against the Carolina Hurricanes, but somehow they found strength even when they were down 4-1 midway through the 2nd period to pull off a stunning comeback! Thorton, Couture & Goodrow all scored in the late 2nd and 3rd period to tie the game at 4-4. And just 22 seconds into the overtime period, San Jose scored the winner through Burns to land our 9/1 Accumulator!
