Ajax star Matthijs de Ligt will join Barcelona or Bayern Munich, says Ajax boss Erik ten Hag
Matthijs de Ligt will join Barcelona or Bayern Munich this summer, according to his manager.
Ajax boss Erik ten Hag also insisted there is ‘zero chance’ of De Ligt staying with the Dutch champions beyond the season.
The 19-year-old has been linked with a £75million move to Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool and Juventus.
He told Suddeutschen Zeitung: “There’s zero chance Matthijs de Ligt is staying at Ajax.
“There are so many clubs interested in him.
“He will leave us this summer, but I don’t know whether he’ll join Bayern or Barcelona.”
Despite Ten Hag’s prediction, De Ligt revealed he could leave Ajax for Juventus earlier this month.
