Alfredo Morelos: Rangers star forced to wait until Thursday regarding disciplinary action over Celtic incidents

Rangers will have to wait until Thursday before finding out if Alfredo Morelos faces any disciplinary charges from Saturday’s victory over Celtic at Ibrox.

The Colombian forward appeared to kick out at Hoops captain Scott Brown, stand on defender Anthony Ralston and flick out his hand at midfielder Ryan Christie’s groin area during the 1-0 victory which took the Light Blues level on points with the Scottish Premiership leaders.

Morelos has struggled with his discipline this season

The Scottish Football Association’s compliance officer, Clare Whyte, is awaiting referee John Beaton’s report before deciding whether to take any action.

Morelos has picked up 13 yellow cards and three reds this season, albeit one against Aberdeen earlier in the season was rescinded.
