Boxing news: Derek Chisora warns Tyson Fury that Deontay Wilder rematch will be a ‘disaster’ unless he puts weight back on
Derek Chisora has warned Tyson Fury that he’s facing a potential disaster in his rematch with Deontay Wilder if he doesn’t put some weight back on.
The ‘Gypsy King’ had a tougher fight than expected against Otto Wallin last time out and came in at the lowest he’d weighed since making his comeback.

Chisora, who has been beaten by Fury twice, previously stated that he believes he’s the best heavyweight in the world, but is hesitating on that opinion following the Wallin performance.
He told Seconds Out: “I said that, but after I saw his last fight, I think he needs to do more now because he stopped doing things that he was doing before.
“He’s lost so much weight, and he doesn’t have the power punches anymore that he had.
“I think the rematch will be a disaster for him if he doesn’t fix it up right now.”
Ahead of his own fight against David Price on October 26, Chisora has also been enjoying observing Fury’s WWE antics.
When asked about the ‘Gypsy King’s’ fight with Braun Strowman he replied: “It’s the luck of the Irish, man.
“We both know that wrestling pays loads of money if you get it right. Since the ’80s and ’90s, I used to watch the WWF. But good luck to him. I don’t have anything bad to say about Tyson Fury.
“He’s doing this now, but I think he’s doing this to build a profile for the fight with Deontay Wilder, which is a good thing.”
