Celtic 2019/20 home kit: Shirt set for Glasgow launch on Wednesday night as leaked images show classy new collar

Celtic’s new home kit for the 2019/20 season will be released on May 1 at an event in Glasgow, the club have confirmed.

And if the leaked images from Footy Headlines are anything to go by, the New Balance strip is set to fly off the shelves.

The New Balance strip for next year will be showcased for the first time at the city’s Argyle Street Arches.

A statement on the club’s official website confirmed fans could also meet players at the kit launch in the city centre, with a limited number of places still up for grabs.

The new strip will be available for pre-order immediately after the event, from www.celticfc.net/store and in all official Celtic stores across Scotland and Ireland from May 2.

Images from Footy Headlines, famed for their accuracy with ‘leaked’ kits, suggest the club will revert to a solid green collar for next season.

As well as the traditional green and white hoops, there will be a small black trim on the sleeves.

Celtic’s deal with New Balance was agreed in 2015 and worth a reported £30million.
