And Castagne could also find himself at Celtic Park, say the Daily Mail, as the Scottish Premiership side hunt out a replacement for Mikael Lustig.

The 23-year-old Belgian defender joined the Italian side, currently chasing at Champions League berth in Serie A, back in 2017 from Genk, replacing Andrea Conti.

He made 22 appearances last season but has only managed six league starts this year leaving the player unhappy.

Castagne will be familiar to some Celtic fans having played against Scotland for his nation.

Castagne has even admitted he feels unloved by coach Gian Piero Gasperini.
