Chelsea team news: Confirmed Blues line-up for Premier League clash vs Crystal Palace
Chelsea travel to Crystal Palace at Sunday lunchtime for a Premier League London derby against Crystal Palace.
The Blues can move to within one point of Manchester City with a defeat of the Eagles, temporarily at least, with Pep Guardiola’s side not in action against Southampton until later in the day.
Maurizio Sarri’s men triumphed the last time these two teams met, with Alvaro Morata netting twice and Pedro grabbing the third in a 3-1 win. Andros Townsend scored Palace’s goal at Stamford Bridge, briefly pulling the match level at 1-1 before Morata restored Chelsea’s lead.
Morata has not scored a league goal since grabbing his brace against Roy Hodgson’s side, and he fails to start for the fifth match in succession today; back from injury, the Spain international is named among the substitutes.
