Eden Hazard transfer: Chelsea star ‘will refuse to sign new contract’ even if club fend off Real Madrid interest

Eden Hazard will refuse to sign a new contract with Chelsea even if the club threaten to keep him at the club for the remainder of his deal, according to reports.

The Belgian’s long-anticipated move to Real Madrid is seemingly edging closer by the day following the return of Zinedine Zidane.

Hazard will reportedly refuse to sign a new deal if Chelsea fend off interest from Real Madrid

The Frenchman, who was reappointed as Los Blancos chief last month, has been promised a massive overhaul of his current crop of players and has already signed Porto defender Eder Militao.

Hazard, 28, has always idolised Zidane and dreamt of a move to the Bernabeu.

The Blues winger has been stalling on signing a new contract with the west London club, with his current deal up at the end of next season – and Chelsea have reportedly placed a £100million price tag on their talisman’s head.

The Telegraph are now reporting Hazard will refuse to sign a new contract even if the west London club play hardball with the LaLiga giants to get them to pay the desired fee.
