Floyd Mayweather isn’t making a comeback as his big announcement turns out to be new business venture – boxing fans disappointed
Floyd Mayweather will not be making a comeback anytime soon if his latest ‘announcement’ is anything to go by.
On Monday, the boxing legend teased he would have something to announce in an Instagram video, however, this has now been revealed to be merely another business venture.
Many fans had speculated the retired 42-year-old was plotting another ring return and that he was about to make this official on Wednesday.
However, he teased an announcement just to state he has teamed up with a new fantasy sports company and is intending to conquer another business market.
At 50-0, it appears Mayweather is now retired for good, having beaten Conor McGregor in his final fight.
In his storied career, the remarkable five-weight world champion overcame the likes of Manny Pacquiao, Canelo Alvarez, Oscar De La Hoya, Juan Manuel Marquez, Miguel Cotto and Shane Mosley.
