Game of Thrones star and Leeds fan, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau was unable to hide his admiration for Marcelo Bielsa on an American talk show.

Coster-Waldau, who plays Jaime Lannister in Game of Thrones, was promoting the show’s eighth and final season, which airs next Monday, on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

And he reckons United boss Bielsa would transform the north, one of the constituent regions of the Seven Kingdoms in the show, in the same way he has turned around the Whites’ fortunes.

Leeds have played a scintillating brand of football under Bielsa in his debut season at Elland Road – and currently occupy an automatic promotion spot.
