KSI vs Logan Paul 2: Punter loses £24,500 on bet backing American to beat his British YouTube rival in Los Angeles
One gambler lost tens of thousands of pounds after losing a bet on the KSI vs Logan Paul fight in Los Angeles.
The £24,500 wager was placed on Paul to beat his YouTube rival in their professional boxing rematch at the Staples Centre.
The American was the favourite over his Watford-born opponent but he lost after KSI was handed a split decision victory.
One punter placed the $30,000 (£24,500) bet at the Golden Gate Hotel & Casino and would have returned $46,666.65 (£36,530).
Two of the three judges scored it as such (57-54 KSI, 56-55 KSI) while the third had it 56-55 Logan to produce a split verdict in favour of the Brit.
Paul had been deducted two points in the fourth round for punching his opponent while he was down.
The champion said post-fight: “Last time I was scared. I was scared to touch him, this time I just went in, I just kept going and kept going.
