Kubrat Pulev apologises for controversial kiss, but brands reporter’s actions ‘immoral’
Kubrat Pulev has publicly apologised for kissing reporter Jenny ‘SuShe’ Ravalo during an interview last month.
On March 23, the heavyweight swiftly brought an end to their discussion by grabbing the reporter and kissing her on the mouth.
She hired lawyer Gloria Allred to call for action from the California Commission and alleges he also grabbed and squeezed her backside after the kiss – something he denies.
“I did not want to say anything bad about her,” Pulev began, speaking on bTV Bulgaria. “I do not hate her. I still have good feelings for her even though they attack me and say lies.
“What they are doing is not moral. Because there are really a lot of women who are real victims of sexual abuse, but this is not the case here.
“This is ugly and immoral.”
In the aftermath of the incident, Kubrat Pulev’s team released a video showing Jenny Ravalo at their post-fight after party (which took place a few hours after the kiss).

This clip appeared to show her giving a lap dance to a member of Pulev’s entourage just yards away from the Bulgarian boxer who she claims assaulted her a few hours earlier.
When asked directly if he would apologise, Pulev replied: “Yes, I am sorry for what happened, if I could go back, of course I would not do it.
“I am temperamental, I did it from happiness and euphoria. I can tell my fans that if I had to do it again, I would not.
“I am sorry for this, but the thing is I did it with no intention of abuse.”
