Liverpool 2019/20 goalkeeper shirt: Leaked images of New Balance design before potential move to Nike
These are exciting times for Liverpool.
Their title push is gathering more momentum following their huge win over Chelsea last weekend and they’re in pole position to reach the Champions League semi-finals.
But things are also looking good on the commercial side at the club with Liverpool reportedly in advanced talks with sports brand Nike over a long-term kit deal that would be the biggest ever signed by a top-flight side in the UK.
Their current contract with New Balance, worth £45million a year, is due to expire at the end of next season, while they are also understood to have held discussions with Adidas and Puma to try and secure the highest possible figure.
And as we enter the closing stages of the 2018/19 season, speculation begins to rise about what strip teams will sport next season.

Footy Headlines released leaked images of a possible home kit for the Reds in the 2019/20 season.
If Liverpool do indeed change which sports brand goes on their shirts then this will be New Balance’s last hurrah.
And Footy Headlines have released what the Liverpool goalkeeper jersey could look like in the 2019/20 season and you can see images below.
The shirt has a similar template to the home shirt but is black with a gold trim. The Standard Chartered sponsor on the front and Western Union logos on the sleeves are in gold.
The collar is a v-net construction as opposed to the more simple crew neck found on the player shirt.
Black shorts and socks with gold logos complete Liverpool’s 19-20 goalkeeper kit.
