Liverpool vs Chelsea: Blues mock Steven Gerrard with video of slip ahead of crucial clash at Anfield

If the game wasn’t big enough already, Chelsea’s social media team have just amped it up a further notch.

Ahead of the monumental clash at Anfield, the Blues have aimed a not-so-subtle dig at Steven Gerrard, posting a video of THAT infamous slip in 2014.

In 2014, the legendary Reds captain slipped to let Demba Ba through on goal to slot home and effectively end Liverpool’s title hopes as Manchester City clawed back a five-point deficit to lift the trophy.

Meanwhile, Ba, who single-handedly ended Gerrard’s personal quest to end Liverpool’s 24-year title drought, has admitted he has no sympathy for the current Rangers manager over his error.
