Man United vs Crystal Palace confirmed line-ups: Gary Cahill makes Eagles debut as Solskjaer keeps faith in Paul Pogba

Manchester United host Crystal Palace hoping to continue their solid start to the Premier League season.

The Red Devils dismantled Chelsea 4-0 in their opening fixture and were then unfortunate not to secure a win on the road against Wolves after battling to a draw at Molineux in a game which saw Paul Pogba have a penalty saved.

There’s nothing like the next game to silence the critics and Pogba will be keen to put in a good performance against the Eagles on Saturday, kick-off 3pm.

On the other hand, Crystal Palace have had a difficult start to the campaign.

They fought out a goalless stalemate against Everton on the opening weekend before being narrowly edged by Premier League newcomers Sheffield United at Bramall lane last week.

Roy Hodgson’s side now face the daunting task of securing points at Old Trafford, especially as Man United look improved following the summer arrivals of defenders Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Harry Maguire.

The two summer signings start for United on Saturday afternoon, while Solskjaer has also kept faith in the under-fire Pogba. Daniel James also makes his second successive start having been handed his full Red Devils debut in Monday’s draw at Wolves.

The big news for Palace is that Gary Cahill makes his first appearance as a starter, while Wilfried Zaha remains in the starting line-up as the Eagles hunt for their first goal of the season.
