Manchester United goalkeeper has Wikipedia page changed to David De Gea Karius after error in draw with Chelsea
David De Gea’s Wikipedia page has been edited following another blunder in goal for Manchester United.
His page was changed to David De Gea Karius within minutes of an error that led to Chelsea scoring an equaliser in their Premier League match at Old Trafford on Sunday, which ended 1-1.
The goalkeeper has come under fire in recent weeks for his poor run of form that has seen him at fault for goals in big matches.
He was at fault for a Barcelona goal as they were dumped out of the Champions League.
He then should have done better with a Leroy Sane shot in the Manchester derby midweek as they were beaten 2-0.
Against Chelsea, De Gea palmed Antonio Rudiger’s shot straight into the path of Marcos Alonso who was able to then finish from a tight angle.
He is now being compared to Loris Karius, who made errors in the Champions League final for Liverpool against Real Madrid.

The comparison is perhaps a little unfair considering De Gea has been one of, if not the best United players over the last few seasons.
There have been calls for the goalkeeper to be benched, though, with Ryan Mason telling talkSPORT it could be time to take him out of the firing line.
