Manchester United legend Roy Keane lays into Paul Pogba as Real Madrid transfer speculation intensifies
Roy Keane has attacked Paul Pogba and questioned his commitment to Manchester United.
The World Cup winner has endured a tumultuous season, with Jose Mourinho seemingly trying to force him out of Old Trafford.
When Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was appointed, the France international enjoyed a startling upturn in form and seemed to be justifying his £89million price tag.
But rumours of a rift between the Norwegian and his talisman began to surface and Pogba himself admitted it would be a ‘dream’ to play for Los Blancos.
And Keane, who was no stranger to controversy during his time in United’s midfield, does not believe the 26-year-old can be trusted.
“I wouldn’t believe a word he says,” Keane said. “There’s no meaning, no meaning behind it.
“I don’t even think he believed what he was saying there.
“He is a big problem, no doubt about it.”
“You’ve got to run back when you’re defending!
“He said it got a bit heated after the game against Everton; I heard they were actually throwing their hair gel at each other.”
