Matt Hardy relives one of the greatest comebacks in WWE history
Matty Hardy has relived one of the greatest comebacks in WWE history.
After an eight-year absence from WWE, Matt and brother Jeff, The Hardy Boyz, made their return to the company at Wrestlemania 33.
The pair were surprise entrants in a Fatal-4-Way ladder match for the Raw Tag Team Championships and ended up beating Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, Cesaro and Sheamus and Enzo Amore and Big Cass to take home the gold.
The Orlando crowd went wild when The New Day introduced the Hardys into the match.
Now, both Matt and Jeff will participate in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at Wrestlemania 35 on Sunday.
Speaking to talkSPORT’s Will Gavin about their return in 2017, Matt said: “We hadn’t been there (to the arena), so we walked out to see this sea of humanity everywhere.
“People were going crazy and it’s like legit shock, people were going ‘oh my god, it’s the Hardys!’
“There were 80,000 people doing that.

“The word I use to sum that up was ‘magic’.
“It was a surreal moment, it was so exhilarating, intoxicating, it was magical more than anything else.”
Since making their second return to WWE, Matt has won the Raw Tag Team Championships twice, while Jeff has held the United States Championship.
