Pep Guardiola loses it on the touchline when Manchester City were denied penalty for second time in 3-1 defeat to Liverpool

Pep Guardiola was clearly not happy with the officials as his Manchester City side lost 3-1 to Liverpool at Anfield.

The City boss was incensed when his side were not awarded a penalty early in the first half when the ball struck Trent Alexander-Arnold on the arm.

Michael Oliver did not award the spot kick and within 30 seconds Liverpool had gone up the other end and taken the lead through Fabinho.

The decision went to VAR and the handball was not given and the goal stood.

Guardiola then completely lost it in the second half when he thought his side should have been awarded a penalty again.

In similar circumstances, the ball struck Alexander-Arnold on the arm again and the appeals were waved away.

The Man City manager walked along the touchdown holding two fingers in the air and gestured towards the fourth official Mike Dean.

In typical Mike Dean fashion, he stood their unmoved as Guardiola continued to protest.
