Ryan Kent only arrived at Rangers in the summer, but the wide midfielder is already a cult hero in the blue half of Glasgow.

The on-loan Liverpool starlet had a storming game at Ibrox during the Old Firm derby victory over bitter rivals Celtic, helping the Gers to a 1-0 win.

Scott Brown struggled to get close to Ryan Kent

Confident on the ball, tricky in possession and diligent without it, the 22-year-old is quickly gaining plenty of supporters with his performances in the Scottish Premiership.

One man who will definitely not be a fan is Celtic skipper Scott Brown. The veteran Scotland international was left chasing the youngster’s shadow for the entire 90 minutes on Saturday afternoon.

And when Kent dribbled menacingly down the left before cutting back to Ryan Jack, it was Brown who get the telling deflection past Craig Gordon for the opener.

Brown tried to get retribution as Kent continued to run rings around the 33-year-old, but he was booked for his rigorous challenge.
