Transfer news: Tottenham plan another huge raid on Lyon £50million bid primed for ex-Manchester United star Memphis Depay

Tottenham Hotspur are planning another huge raid on French side Lyon just month after signing one of their top talents.

Spurs landed Tanguy Ndombele in the summer for £62million and the France ace is gradually proving a hit as he gets to grips with the rigours of Premier League football.

Now, according to the Daily Mirror, the north London club, who are currently struggling in mid-table, are considering spending another £50m with the French club to get their hands on Memphis Depay.

The Dutch star was a flop in the English top-flight when he joined Manchester United in 2015 and moved to Lyon two years later after just two goals in 33 league games.

The switch rejuvenated the Dutchman, who was a breakout out star at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, and he’s gone on to be a huge hit in Ligue 1.
