Rey Mysterio injury update
As noted yesterday, there is some concern within the WWE that Mysterio will struggle to be cleared in time to face Samoa Joe on Sunday after missing out on SmackDown Live this week.
The legendary luchador said on Instagram yesterday: “Suffered an injury on my right ankle this past Monday night on Raw against Baron Corbin
Praying to be ready for Mania this Sunday!”
Surprise entrant in Women’s Battle Royal?
According to Wrestling Inc, former Divas champion Eve Torres is in New York for WrestleMania week.
Rumour has it she may be a surprise entrant in the Women’s Battle Royal set for the preshow.

Rob Van Dam signs with Impact
Impact, formerly known as TNA, have made a move to sign RVD, a talent who has had many spells there before.
The former WWE champion is 48-years-old now but he is still as limber and fit as anyone in the business. Impact continue to make good strides and it’s understood RVD will be a regular performer.
WWE moves next Saudi Arabian show
WWE’s next Saudi Arabian date will be moved from May 3 to June 7, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Undertaker and Brock Lesnar were scheduled for the May date, but it’s not known yet whether they’ll work the show in June, especially Lesnar. The Beast is expected to fight in the UFC in July or August.
The Usos sign new deal with WWE
Mike Johnson of PW Insider is reporting that The Usos have penned new contracts with the WWE.
While no details on the length of the deals or the kind of money they will make have been released as of yet, they are certainly staying with the company past WrestleMania.
