WWE prepared to let Sasha Banks sit out the rest of her multi-year contract and have no intention of negotiating
Since the inception of All Elite Wrestling on New Year’s Day this year, the WWE have had an unprecedented amount of talent speaking up for themselves.
Those with contracts running out – Dean Ambrose – and those with plenty of time to go – Sasha Banks – have all voiced their displeasure or chosen to exit the company.
With Banks, the situation is delicate, but it has also apparently reached breaking point, too.
According to Dave Meltzer, the two sides have reached a stalemate and the WWE are perfectly prepared to let Banks sit out her contract and will not be granting her a release.
“Sasha Banks’ situation is unchanged, they are right now at a stalemate. The word is that if she wants to sit out the rest of her contract, she can sit out the rest of her contract. If you know what that means, that means she’s going to be sitting out forever because they are going to add time for her not working,” Meltzer.

Banks has not been seen on Raw for the past three weeks and reportedly asked for her release at the climax fo WrestleMania 35.
Her unhappiness stems from the WWE breaking promises about her and Bayley’s Tag Team title run. They did not expect to have to drop them at WrestleMania 35.
Furthermore, Banks was furious that Bayley was moved to SmackDown and she was left in Raw in the Superstar Shakeup. Of course, the Boss & Hug Connection are best friends in real life and travel together.
One thing is for sure, the WWE are known to be extremely stubborn in these situations and Banks has a lot of time left on her deal having only signed a ‘multi-year deal’ last year. At 27-years-old, it would be a shame if she was to be rendered inactive.
